A vortex mixer, or vortexer, is a simple device commonly used in laboratories to mix small vials of liquid. When a test tube or another appropriate container is pressed into the rubber cup (or touched to its edge), the motion is transmitted to the liquid inside and a vortex is created.
This Vortex mixer has a variable speed control between 0 and 3000 rpm. It is also portable, easy to use and powerful enough for tubes up to 50 ml.
