White Mountain Puzzles, American Drive-In, 1000 PCs Jigsaw Puzzle
The first drive-in restaurant in America was Kirby’s Pig Stand in Dallas, Texas, established in 1921. The idea really took off and drive-ins had their heyday in the 1950s and 60s, to be superceded in later decades by drive-through restaurants. Here is artist Steve Crisp’s idyllic vision of Sid’s Drive-In beneath waving palm trees and a starry sky, with rollerskating waitresses and couples who are probably “going steady”. 1,000 piece puzzle with a finished size of 24” x 30”.
