To store and organize products that are sensitive to humidity, a desiccator is a reliable option. Additionally, it offers the perfect, dust-free storage environment sensitive parts need.
The purpose of the desiccator is to either dry a chemical or keep a chemical from becoming “wet” from atmospheric humidity (water in the air). Common desiccants are CaSO4 , silica gel, MgSO4, and P2O5. Desiccants is used quite frequently because it changes from blue to pink as it absorbs water.
This 150 mm amber laboratory desiccator is made of thick high-quality glass, and is high temperature resistance, strong and durable.
Each amber glass desiccator has a lid to match it. The wide edge of the lid is flattened to match the base to achieve the purpose of sealing.
